November 1905 - April 1906

The reading of the papers will be followed in each case by discussion, and, as the object of these meetings is to present and elicit, for permanent record, facts of Local History, especially those of personal knowledge and observation not only general attendance of members is requested, but participation in the discussions.

In this connection concise statements, in writing, upon the announced topics, by those present are desired for filing, as well as communications from members unable to be present, which will be brought to the notice of the meeting.

Intermediate meetings, that may be held, will be duly announced.

Stated Meetings of Directors will be held the third Tuesday in each month and Thursday, February 15, at 7.30 P. M.

Members are privileged to bring friends, including ladies, to the meetings of the Association.

MEMBERSHIP.

Members are elected by the Directors at any stated or called meeting of the Board, upon application made through a member of the Board.

A membership fee of two dollars is required before enrollment, the receipt of which is acknowledged by a Certificate of Membership. Annual dues thereafter will be one dollar.

Members will receive the Programs of Meetings and Annual Reports, and will not only have the privilege of attendance, with their friends, upon all the Historical- Meetings of the Association, but also have the privilege of consulting the library, under the regulations adopted.

The library is accessible at all times upon application to the Librarian or any Director; and it is proposed to open it at least one evening in the week from 7 o’clock to 10 o’clock.

It is especially desirable that citizens of the County should connect themselves with this association, officially recognized as the Historical Society of the County, and take part in its work by participating in the meetings by their presence, on communications to be read, and also by aiding in the increase of its collection of objects of local historical interest.

All articles and books presented will be officially registered , and due credit be given in the annual reports.
