Enoch S. Cook

Enoch S. Cook served in the U.S.C.T., and according to registration records it is likely he enlisted around July 1, 1863.1 He was born in Virginia, married Caroline cook, and lived in Dauphin County, Pennsylvania. Nothing else is known about his life at this time. He is buried in Lincoln Cemetery, Pennsylvania.2

Marshall Dixon

Marshall Dixon served in Company G, in the 32nd U.S.C.T. He was born around 1846 in Montgomery, Pennsylvania, to his father Jim Dixon, and his mother, who’s name is unknown.

Daniel Fisher

Daniel Fisher served in the 32nd U.S.C.T with Company H from February 29, 1864, to August 22, 1865. He was born in 1818 in York County, Pennsylvania.1 Before enlistment, according to the 1850 Federal Census, he lived in Carlisle, Pennsylvania as a laborer, was married to Jane Fisher, and had one infant son, Daniel.2 The date of his marriage is unknown. He enlisted into the military as a private on February 29, 1864, in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, with Company H of the 32nd U.S.C.T.

George Fisher

George Fisher served in the 54th Regiment of Massachussetts Infantry with Company D. According to his record, "[Massachusetts] Fisher, George - Age 25, Year:1863 - 54th Massachusetts Infantry, Disbrow-Franklin", in the National Archives Catalog, Fisher was born around 1838 in Carlisle, Pennsylvania to a Mrs. Elizabeth Lephart and a Mr. Jacob Fisher.1 Before he served in the U.S. Colored Troops, he held the occupation of a farmer.

George H. Frazer

Obituary Tuesday 10/22/1907 pg. 4 in the Evening Sentinel. Served in the 1st Regimenent of the United States Colored Troops, and was a longtime resident of Carlilse. Frazer was a member of the local AME church, and had a wife and seven children. 

Henry J. Galloway

Henry John Galloway was born around 1840. His obituary in The Shippensburg News says he was born enslaved near Winchester, Virginia, but it is possible he was born in Manchester, Maryland.1 In 1863, he lived in Williamsport, Maryland, and was working as a farmer. He enlisted as a private into Company H of the 55th Massachusetts Colored Infantry on June 10, 1863, in Reedville, Massachusetts, at around 23 years old.
